193 - maus

I bought this a while ago and only finished it yesterday. it's a good comic, honest and enlightening. it's about a polish jew and his rather remarkable experiences during the II world war.

185 - Persepolis

i got a hold of this from Exclusive Books in Cavendish. it was in the biography section not the graphic novel section, go figure. anyway, i've read the whole thing and it's a great read, learned a lot about Iran and found a few things i could completely relate to. example case below, i remember having this experience when first walking into a shop in Australia after having to shop in the sparsely stocked shelves of Zimbabwe.

you can find out more about the author and the book here.
