096 - volcanologist

yup, that's what my dad wanted to be. he became an accountant instead. i am grateful to my dad for encouraging me to pursue what i wanted to do with my career choice. i appreciate the fact that he trusted me in this area. it is hard to let your child go and make a move into a career that isn't as safe as say a more generally available job. you want you children to be safe and secure so i really appreciate the fact that my dad let me go into a field that could very likely have left me high and dry. they say that earning a living and moving out of home is a step of maturity but i think doing what my father did was more of a maturity step than i could have ever have made at that time.
