073 - don't be hasty

this is the best thing i've read in a long time

As a personal boundary, I refuse to watch romance films or read romance novels. I have friends who have incredible boyfriends/husbands, but they sit and watch these films and say "why doesn't he ever do THAT for me?". I don't want to create expectations in my heart, I just want to be able to appreciate whatever romantic things my husband does for me in his own way, and not cheapen it by comparing it to something I've seen in a film or read in a book.
