050 - Italian

Generally when I meet people for the first time somewhere along the line the subject of my "nationality" comes into the conversation. Most of the time I've been asked if I'm Italian but the lists have included (sequentially): Greek, Portuguese, Turkish, Spanish, and recently Lebanese. Italian is still the main calling card and I've just come across a picture of some Italian police march and had to take a second look...I couldn't help but notice a similarity with one of them.


Anyway, I suppose I can't blame people for making that assumption.
